For those who are not sure if Belarus and Minsk in particular is worth visiting, please, read on as you won’t believe anything that you’ve read and learned about Minsk before. Minsk is safe, clean and cheap, people are friendly and nice, but many of them just don’t speak English, the women beauty is breathtaking, there are many high quality clubs, restaurants, small shops, cafes and most of them are open all night long.
But…there is always a little but – tourist flow in Minsk is very little and as a result Minsk turns to be a very unfriendly city to a tourist. It’s extremely hard to find a restaurant with English speaking staff, hotels are few and very expensive, cab drivers don’t speak English, but like to deal with foreigners, as they can ask 20 euro for 5 km.
